Cycling Orthotics
Cycling Orthotics
Attain a higher level of performance in the saddle with custom cycling orthotics from PTI's highly trained Board Certified Pedorthist in Longmont and Boulder Colorado! Whether you're climbing Magnolia Road or cruising the open roads of Boulder County, our orthotics fit seamlessly into your cycling shoes, improving alignment, minimizing strain and hot spots from excessive pressures.
Cyclists at the professional level push equipment to its limits, and the demands placed on the body are no different. This version speaks directly to riders who care about marginal gains, biomechanical precision, and sustained power output.
Engineered for elite power transfer
PTI cycling orthotics are built for athletes who require uncompromising support and the most efficient transfer of force from foot to pedal. Drawing on PTI’s established biomechanical methodology, they stabilize the foot under high load, refine alignment through the entire stroke, and help maintain consistent power delivery during peak efforts.
Ultra‑thin, high‑strength materials for pro‑level performance
These orthotics use advanced polymers and high‑tech carbon composite structures that deliver exceptional stiffness and durability at only a few millimeters of thickness. The result is a platform that enhances pedaling mechanics without adding bulk or weight.
- Improved stroke efficiency through better foot positioning and reduced energy loss
- Greater stability under torque, especially during out‑of‑saddle efforts and steep climbs
- Reduced pressure points for sustained comfort during long training blocks and race‑intensity efforts
This combination of rigidity, precision fit, and minimal mass supports the demands of extended climbs, high‑wattage accelerations, and long‑duration rides where every mechanical advantage matters.

I’m so happy with my new orthotics! I have worn orthotics for many years and this is the first time they were done right with no adjustments needed. Aaron was so professional, took his time with measurements and casting. He listened to my concerns and incorporated issues with my feet and back into the construction of the orthotics.
Aaron is very professional. I have been using his orthotics for many years hiking in rough terrain. They helped a great deal with some issues I was having with one ankle. I recently purchased a pair for my bike. I highly recommend this business.
Just a note to say great job. I've used referrals from UC Health and OTC products without success, but Aaron was fantastic. Initial fit was great, but months later, an adjustment was necessary. No Charge! Good man, good practice - can't recommend him enough.
PTI Orthotics is so awesome. You have someone who literally makes your orthotics on site. He doesn't send it to a lab in a third world country or pick something up off the shelf. He takes the time to do a thorough exam and then provides you truly custom made orthotics that mold to your feet. Thanks Aaron

Hand‑crafted custom foot orthotics are shaped precisely to your unique anatomy, giving you more accurate support and better alignment than mass‑produced inserts. Their tailored design can improve comfort, reduce pain, and enhance overall foot function in a way off‑the‑shelf options simply can’t match.
X
CNC machining creates custom foot orthotics with exceptional precision because it follows exact digital measurements rather than relying on manual shaping. This automated process reduces human error and produces more consistent, highly accurate results for every pair.

Non weight bearing neutral position casting has been the gold standard since the 1970's and is now being phased out by non weight bearring 3D scanning. Superior intra / inter tester repeatability. Captures intersegmental malalignments within the foot.
X
Superior shock absorption while disapating ground reaction forces. Enhanced durabily and will not compress like foam cushioning materials. Superior soft tissue supplement.
X
By incorporating different densities of materials within the structure of the orthotic, these devices can offer specific areas of the foot targeted cushioning and support. Bony protrusions can be accommodated while supporting the other critical areas of the foot. This is not possible without a positive model. Direct molding techniques do not create a positive model of the foot.
X
Long lasting ultra strong designs that hold the angles molded and machined into the orthotics not possible when using direct molding techniques because no foot models are created with those older systems. These materials mold at 350F and higher and cannot be used in direct mold systems.
X
Ultra‑strong, thin carbon‑fiber composites provide superior performance in certain orthotic applications because they deliver exceptional support without adding bulk. This allows for precise biomechanical control while keeping the device lightweight and low volume.
X
Sport‑specific orthotics are beneficial because they’re designed to match the unique movements, forces, and demands of a particular activity, giving athletes more precise support. This targeted design can improve performance, reduce fatigue, and lower the risk of injury by keeping the feet and body aligned during sport‑specific motions.
X
Pathology‑specific custom foot orthotics are beneficial because they’re designed to address the exact mechanical issues caused by a particular condition rather than using a one‑type-fixes‑all approach. This targeted design can reduce symptoms more effectively and support better long‑term function by matching the orthotic to the patient’s specific needs.
