Clients have commented on how our custom orthotics cushioning materials appear different to what might be called ‘industry standard’. And they’re right! These are usually urethane or polyethylene foams. This forms a structure akin to a foam mattress or a sponge – and the cellular structure gradually collapses.
The two-part polymer gel we have chosen to use begins in liquid form; and can then be formulated to meet specific needs. When the liquid is cured, its non-cellular gel state does not bottom out, and provides quality cushioning for a substantial period of time.
