Why gel filled orthotics are the future

For a time now, the standard orthotics used by many labs feature polyethylene or urethane foams. Their structure would remind you of a foam mattress or a sponge. This means that, over time, their cell walls will collapse, reducing the effectiveness of the vital cushioning effect. Often just like a lumpy or flattened old mattress!

Filled orthotics feature a two-part polymer gel which starts in liquid form and after it’s cured it becomes a non-cellular gel, thus retaining its powerful assistance for key load-bearing areas over a long period.
